Principal's Message
At Grandview Heights we are preparing our students for post-secondary studies and helping nurture the citizens and leaders of the next generation. We emphasize academic excellence in the core subjects of English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and French; foster critical, creative and rigorous thinking; promote good character and citizenship; and make it a priority to develop global, local and environmental citizenship through education and active engagement of our students.
We balance our academic rigour with strong arts, physical education, and French as a Second Language programs. Eligible junior high students may also take a three-year accelerated mathematics and science program (Please see application information for the Academic Alternative Program under the For Parents - Registration tab).
As Principal, I feel grateful to be able to serve the students and parents of Grandview Heights.
Sincerely,
Paige McKenzie

The deadline for applying to the 2022-23 Junior High Academic Alternative program has passed.
Applicants have been emailed indicating whether they have met entrance criteria. We do, however, find it necessary this year to go to Random Selection, as we have more students that have met the entrance criteria than we have space. Random selection will take place on April 20, parents will be contacted April 20-26, with the results.
